A complete line of IP66, IP67, IP68 and IP69K rated environmentally sealed circular power connectors designed to provide safe, robust and waterproof connections in heavy-duty, industrial and harsh environment applications. Each series includes a flex cable connector, inline flex cable connector and bulkhead mounting options – die-hard wired versions are also available for select series.
With a wide range of ruggedized male and female options offering 2 to 32 poles, popular power ratings including 250V, 277V to 600V 32A, and screw, soldered or crimped terminations and metal or plastic connector housings, the Buccaneer range of power connectors provides the ideal interconnection solution to many design problems. .
EXPLOSIVE ENVIRONMENT ZONE 2-22 CONNECTORS
The EXPlora series is an explosion proof variant of the 900 Series suitable for ATEX Zone 2 (Gas) and 22 (Dust) applications. This makes it ideal for manufacturers of ancillary electrical equipment such as motors, pumps, lighting equipment, process and control equipment for use in factories and facilities where hazardous or explosive atmospheres may occur due to flammable gases, mists or vapors or combustible dust.
With an ingress protection rating of IP68, these rugged, explosion-proof electrical connectors are also ideal for harsh environments that require secure, waterproof and environmentally sound power connections, such as Oil & Gas, Mining and Power Generation applications.
900 SERIES
Our highest power circular connector in the Buccaneer series, rated up to 32A, 600V ac/dc. Sealed to IP68 and IP69K, the 900 Series includes a secure screw thread lock to ensure robust high voltage connections. This Buccaneer series is well suited for applications requiring dust and waterproof connections for single or three phase power distribution.
With UL, CSA and VDE approvals, these heavy-duty cable connectors are ideal for a variety of harsh environment applications such as sewer and waterworks, construction sites, outdoor lighting and industrial machinery, pumps and motors.
STANDARD SHERRY
The tried and tested Standard Buccaneer is one of our most popular waterproof connectors in the industry today. Rated to IP68 and IP69K, these environmentally safe power connectors are designed in a wide range of markets including Industrial, Automotive and Marine and set the gold standard for dust and waterproof circular connectors.
400 SERIES
One of our most compact connectors in the Buccaneer series, the 400 Series Buccaneer is ideal for small footprint designs. Taking a number of great features and specifications from the larger Buccaneer family, the 400 Series miniature power connectors condense them into a compact form factor that gives engineers more flexibility.
Lightweight and robust, these sealed circular plastic connectors offer highly reliable power or signal connections for use in medical, industrial, infrastructure and automotive applications where space is limited.
4000 SERIES
The 4000 Series Buccaneer is our most compact and versatile circular connector to date. Featuring a robust Valox PC/PBT construction and quick-turn bayonet connection mechanism, this series of miniature sealed connectors are perfect for applications in a wide variety of markets that require fast, dustproof and waterproof power connections.
Rated to IP66, IP67, IP68 and IP69K standards, the 4000 Series is particularly suitable for system designs in harsh environments where space is critical and an environmentally sealed interconnect solution with high performance features is required.
6000 SERIES
Circular connectors combining proven environmental sealing up to IP68 and IP69K with an easy to use 30 degree locking mechanism. Available in robust metal or plastic enclosures, it is ideal for applications where dust and water ingress must be prevented and where ease of connection, space and appearance are important.
This series of waterproof power connectors can withstand powerful water jets, harsh saltwater conditions (plastic-bodied versions) and are also submersible, making them the ideal connection solution for a variety of harsh environments including Marine and Industrial applications.
7000 SERIES
The 7000 Series Buccaneer offers high power for its class in a compact form factor. Available in robust plastic or metal constructions, these multi-pin circular connectors combine an easy-to-use quick bayonet connection mechanism with proven environmental sealing for signal and mains power.
